Ricoh South Africa, a wholly-owned operating company within the Ricoh Group, is a trusted technology leader specialising in the office solutions and production printing markets. Formerly known as NRG Gestetner South Africa, Ricoh South Africa changed its name in July 2009 as a part of Ricoh’s focus across EMEA to enhance consistency across the Group.


Still, the name change has not discounted the company’s long history in the country.

Ricoh South Africa began its operations in 1921, making it one of the country’s oldest office automation companies.  It offers an innovative portfolio that includes hardware, software solutions, outsourcing and consultancy to help businesses manage an efficient and secure document workflow. Ricoh South Africa is ISO 14001-certified, an international standard that defines the framework by which companies develop their environmental management systems. With ISO 14001 compliance, there is genuine assurance for customers that Ricoh SA, its partners, and suppliers are committed to protecting the environment.
